Catharina J. Berg

I´m artist and art educator and lives and works in an idyllic seaside village between Pitea and Lulea in north of Sweden.

I work with painting and mostly acrylic. Mixing different materials and technologies gives new dimensions to my creating. The color and shape is central to the image, and my motives go more towards the abstract figurative where color choices vary based on where I am in life at the moment. The graphic techniques also constitute a large part of the techniques that I like to work with. Collografi, an incredibly inspiring technology that allows both chance find the picture as well great awareness in the creation of the artwork. Events, meetings between people leave traces in my works.
